(OTCBB: PJTG) has leaped onto the technology scene in a big way since going public in March and its share price seems to be leaping too after trading a record 1.8 million shares Monday following the information technology company's news released last week.Project Group had announced Wednesday that the company expected revenue to soar by over 275% in 2004, climbing to $6 million dollars and double that again in 2005.The Houston Texas company had recently become a Microsoft Gold Partner in June and announced a contract with Microsoft on Friday, November 21, to implement the installation of its MS Office Project 2003 software at three companies; Cooper Cameron, Tetra Technology and Solvay S.A..

Day System Trading While the Project Group did not say they were banking on Microsoft when Craig Crawford, the Project Group's President, released their guidance on future revenues last week, all roads do seem to lead to Rome, or in this case Redmond.

Usually, a partnership has just one name (a "legal" name) that is used for all purposes. However, sometimes a partnership uses one name for legal purposes, including tax purposes, but uses another name (a "trade" name) for conducting its business with the public. For example, "ABC Partnership" doing business as "Joe's Bar and Grill".

Day Signal Trading Crawford let slip in his November 21st announcement that, "Microsoft has identified MS Project as a billion dollar market and has continued to identify the Project Group as a major integrator of this complex software. We are enormously pleased to be part of such an illustrious and expanding collection of world class companies."Part of Crawford's boast comes from other contracts with WalMart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT), oil giant Halliburton (NYSE: HAL), Waste Management (NYSE: WMI) and Texas Industries (NYSE: TXI) to implement the installation and service of MS Office Project software. Day Rule Trading In Crawford's defense, Microsoft does not enter into contracting relationships easily. In fact, the Redmond Washington company has a reputation for cold, calculated moves. When MSFT enters into a contract with a third-party provider, especially on the level of its Gold Partner program, those companies that do attain that level of business continue to see revenue growth. In the case of upstart Project Group, Microsoft sees gold in that partnership and is feeding the company some sterling accounts.

Day Tip Trading PJTG is also trading in an upward trend towards its 52-week hi of $0.37, having climbed for five consecutive days. Over 1,823,495 shares traded hands Monday to close at $0.255, down $0.015, or 5.56%. The average volume for PJTG was reported to be 69,582 shares.

Day Firm Trading Monday's volume was over 26.2 times its average on no news. But Monday was also the first day following "Black Thursday", a time when American retailers would traditionally mark the first day of sales that put them in the black for the year. The Thanksgiving holiday traditionally sees little in the way of market interest as well, with even the dollar taking a pounding while investors were away. The overwhelming trading on Monday could be chalked up to investors first noticing last week's revenue guidance announcement.

Book Day Trading AXcess News noted that insiders had converted notes to shares at $0.25 in its recent 10-Q filing and that some had also exercised warrants as well. While PJTG proclaims a bright future in the coming year, it also noted in Wednesday's press release that additional capital would be needed to meet that explosive growth, although no indication of any pending financing was noted in that news.
